Who I am

My name is Lauren Recinos. I am a Comprehensive pilates and yoga instructor, personal trainer, and educator with over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry. My work is grounded in thoughtful, evidence-informed movement and shaped by decades of hands-on teaching, continued education, and real-world application.

I believe effective training isn’t about doing more — it’s about doing what matters. Movement should be purposeful, accessible, and adaptable to the person in front of you. Whether I’m working with a private client in the studio or teaching instructors in a continuing education setting, my focus is the same: quality over quantity, awareness over intensity, and longevity over trends.

Grit & Grace Fitness was created to support both clients and fitness professionals through intelligent strength training, Pilates, and education that respects the body, honors individual needs, and evolves with experience. From personal training and Pilates sessions to workshops and certifications for ACE, AFAA, NASM, and beyond, my goal is to help people move well, feel strong, and age with confidence.
